The upgraded strategy game is one piece of DG Pals’ ambitious roadmap for 2023.

DG Pals Legends Beta 2.0

Players of DG Pals Legends will notice significant changes to the mechanics of the turn-based strategy Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) game on Cronos Chain and Polygon, after the development team finished upgrades to Legends Beta 2.0.

Medium post details the changes, which affect multiple aspects of the game, including the energy system, ultimate attacks, skill rotations, buff/debuff stacking, attack speed, critical strikes and skill balancing.

“There has been much talk and excitement since the last Fireside Chat where we first announced Legends BETA 2.0. Our team has been hard at work in the studio and we are absolutely thrilled that this day has finally arrived!” the team said in the post.

The results of the Beta 2.0 upgrade include noticeably faster gameplay and, potentially, shifts in the overall effectiveness of DG Pals characters and team lineups.

Recently on Twitter, DG Pals Co-Founder Kit bumped a post containing the gaming ecosystem’s 2023 roadmap, which sets expectations for DG Pals to have at least six games live by the end of the year.

What Is Cronos:

Cronos is an Ethereum-compatible layer-1 blockchain network built on the Cosmos SDK technology. The network was designed to scale the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector and user base of the decentralized application (Dapps) by enabling developers to instantly port dApps and assets from other layer-1 blockchain networks like Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, and Terra.

What is Polygon:

Polygon is a “sidechain” scaling solution that runs alongside the Ethereum blockchain — allowing for speedy transactions and low fees. MATIC is the network’s native cryptocurrency, which is used for fees, staking, and more. The effectiveness of Polygon as an alternative to Ethereum has seen existing projects such as Aave and Curve adopting its chain.
