Ahead of Alpies Non-fungible token (NFT) sale on 19th October, Alpaca Finance explained the details of its innovative Alpie’s NFT leverage boosting feature. The explanation from the leveraged yield farming protocol on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) prepared users for the NFT sale.

One of the aforementioned benefits is 50% higher maximum leverage on Alpaca Finance. In the early hours of Tuesday, 19th October, the protocol explained the huge profit yield farmers could get from the unique feature.
“In this thread, we’ll do a break-even analysis, calculating how much most leveraged yield farmers can expect to earn from an Alpie’s 50% max leverage boost & comparing that to an Alpie’s cost,” the leveraged yield farming protocol tweeted.
According to the disclosure, yield farmers would earn greater profits from owning Alpies. However, Alpaca Finance warned that a higher Annual Percent Yield (APY) might be too appealing for users to risk higher leverage.
“Though higher APYs are appealing, users should note that higher leverage comes with a higher chance of liquidation,” Alpaca wrote. “So you should still be sure to choose your positions well! And manage price movements with alerts.
