The increase in daily active users is seen to be attributed to the PlayToEarn gaming project’s new feature, CryptoBlades Quests.
Releasing New Content
According to The Crypto Basic, a BNB Chain PlayToEarn gaming blockchain project, CryptoBlades, has flipped popular PlayToEarn project, Axie Infinity, in Daily Active Users.
The crypto news agency proclaimed the statistic through a tweet on March 16. They attribute the increase in daily active users to the release of a new game feature called CryptoBlades Quests, which, according to them, impacted new and existing players alike.
“Even as competitor Axie Infinity has struggled, CryptoBlades continues to increase its token and NFT rewards with multiple new features launched in 2022. CryptoBlades—the celebrated NFT, play-to-earn, blockchain game originally launched on BNB Chain last June—has been rewarding its players consistently and sustainably for the entirety of the year (and, looking forward, for many more to come),” The Crypto Basic said in their article. “After the release of a new game feature, CryptoBlades Quests, they have significantly ramped up the game’s user acquisition numbers and heightened the experience for returning players.”
CryptoBlades Quest is a new feature that the CryptoBlades team released in early March of 2022. Players can send their heroes on a quest by requesting one on the Quest tab of the PlayToEarn project’s platform. Certain items may be needed in order to undergo a quest, like weapons, trinkets, shields, and more, and players can opt to skip one quest a day for free and will have to use up some stamina for additional quest skips. There are five quest tiers available to players – Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The higher the quest tier the player wants to do, the higher rarity items are needed in order to complete the quest.
“CryptoBladers, we have another new feature for you that is launching in CryptoBlades today, CryptoBlades Quests! Quests in general is a system of rewarding players for doing/submitting certain tasks and in-game items in order to earn greater rewards and reputation,” CryptoBlades told its community in a medium post. “There are requirements and rewards that will bring a new interactive and engaging gameplay experience!”
Rewards await players who successfully complete a quest. These rewards include weapons, dust, trinkets, shields, NFTs, currencies, and many more. One particular reward, reputation, is predicated on the amount of successful quests a hero has done in a long term setting. A higher reputation yields better quests, which means better rewards once the quest is completed. There are five ranks of reputation available in the game – Peasant, Tradesman, Noble, Knight, and King. These reputation ranks are specific to a character and do not reset with the trading of the NFT.

CryptoBlades is an NFT PlayToEarn (P2E) roleplaying game built on the BNB Chain. The game was developed by Riveted Games, an award-winning game development that was established in 2014. CryptoBlades is one of the winners in Binance’s Most Valuable Builder (MVB) II program.
