CryptoBlades Brings Back Rewards, Adds Multichain NFT Bridge

Gamers can now bridge their in-game NFTs to maximize gameplay benefits on other chains.

Cryptoblades Says Game on, Play on

Play-to-earn GameFi protocol, CryptoBlades, has announced the simultaneous restoration of the platform’s rewards mechanism and the launch of its multi-chain bridge. These measures are part of CryptoBlades’ comeback campaign towards improving the experience of gamers on its platform.

“We Are Back. #RewardsAreBack starts now! The #NFT Bridge is LIVE!”, stated the platform in a tweet on November 26.

The in-game rewards were temporarily reduced a few weeks ago. The team took some time off to optimize its emission rate and make it consistent and fair to all players. According to a post on the platform’s Discord announcement channel, the goal is to bring a true play-to-earn experience back to the platform.

“Each hour we will release an allowance to be earned by players. This is a portion of the reward pool. This way, every cycle should have a bit of profit, so people with different schedules and time-zones have a fair chance to earn,” read the post.

Multi-Chain Bridge Goes Live

CryptoBlades’s multi-chain NFT bridge is now live and functional. Gamers can use the bridge to transfer in-game assets such as swords, shields, game characters etc across every blockchain where CryptoBlades has launched.

As of the time of writing, the platform is present on Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, OkEx, and HECO blockchains. Here is a video that shows how to use the bridge.

Already, the platform has observed a surge in demand for the use of the bridge. To improve user interaction with the bridge, a queue length has been implemented in the user interface to indicate to users how their bridge request is progressing.

To tease the community more, the platform has waived 25% off minting fees for new NFTs and offers 3x reforging up till November 29th. There is also a giveaway campaign initiated by the platform for the community.

Community Feedback

Some members of CryproBlades’ community complained that the platform’s updates have not fully taken effect. Replying to the Twitter announcement, a user reported not receiving any reward after playing a game. Another gamer could not bridge assets to Polygon.

Such hiccups are fairly common when features are newly integrated on a platform. Sometimes, the issue may be that users have not properly learned how to use the platform. At other times there may indeed be some operational bugs in the system. However, as feedback of users’ experiences come in, it is expected that the team will attend to them and make platform amendments where needed. Cryptoblades is running a fine line with users’ temperament at the moment, it would be wise to mitigate all issues.
