Crypto.com is going straight to the users – the Super Bowl is the must-see event of every year!

Crypto.com, the Singapore-based crypto decentralized application and exchange, will sponsor a commercial during the NBC Super Bowl broadcast on February 13. The move continues a slew of marketing and advertising moves that is putting Crypto.com at the center of major US events.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that NBC is currently seeking more than $6.5 million for a 30-second commercial during the year’s most-watched event. The Super Bowl garners upwards of 100 million viewers each year.

“Crypto genuinely is for everybody,” Steven Kalifowitz, Crypto.com’s Chief Marketing Officer told Megan Graham of the Wall Street Journal.  “Going into different sports just allows me to reach everybody where they are. Super Bowl is just one more step into that, where it’s as mass as you get.”

Crypto.com has taken their advertising directly to where they think potential users will be found. The company has called in the help of famed actor Matt Damon as a spokesman and even purchased naming rights to the formed Staples Center in Los Angeles causing much publicity. Kalifowitz confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that industries insiders fully hope for Crypto.com to become a top consumer brand alongside Nike and Apple.

“There’s a lot of people saying crypto is a fad, just the way they said the internet was a fad,” Kalifowitz said. “Crypto is really the basis of the next version of the internet.”
