Loaded Lions NFTs
10,000 of the first NFTs dedicated specifically as profile pictures––Loaded Lions––sold out on Crypto.com/NFT in less than three hours. The sale, initiated at 13:00 UTC on Nov. 23rd, saw major hype for the hand-drawn lions. The drop is the first native platform-owned PFP (profile picture) collection launched in crypto.
The drop was first announced on Nov. 22 via blog and Tweet by Crypto.com. The cost for each NFT was $200 USD and gave each user open access to the Mane Net, fitted with added prizes and rewards. Lucky users who quickly set their profile pic as a lion became eligible for USD 100,000 of CRO tokens.
“Thanks so much for your patience today, we had overwhelming demand! Loaded Lions have🔴SOLD OUT🔴 Congratulations to all the lucky collectors,” tweeted Crypto.com/NFT on Nov. 23rd.
Crypto.com continues a strong marketing and successful branding campaign. The pivot towards the NFT market is always a major move and Crypto.com first successful in-play could help make it a major player in the burgeoning industry.
