Coinbase and Crypto.com hit two big landmarks this week. The former exchange’s mobile app hit number one on the Apple Store and the latter’s application hit number one on Google Play Store, as hailed by crypto personality Anthony Pompliano on Twitter.
Crypto.com achieving this significant milestone in the Android ecosystem came soon after their announcement of Matt Damon being chosen as their latest brand ambassador and featuring in their latest advertisement, “Fortune Favours The Brave.” The ad is directed by Oscar winning director Wally Pfister and is produced by the legendary David Fischer.
“Today we unveiled Fortune Favours the Brave. A tribute to those who got us this far. And an invitation to those who will take us further. #FFTB” exclaimed Kris Marsalek, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Crypto.com in a Twitter thread about the advertisement.
The likes of Crypto.com and Coinbase now have their icons sitting among renowned applications like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. Both platforms have over 10 Million downloads from Google, and rank #1 and #3 respectively on the Apple App store.
Crypto.com’s NFT platform is gearing up for their first official Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) drop on Nov. 4 at 13:00 UTC as announced by the exchange through Twitter. The platform has teamed up with the league to launch the UFC 268 collection.
Both Crypto.com and Coinbase have been slowly becoming mainstream and households in the United States. As more aggressive marketing emerges, the tide of ignorance will slowly acquiesce to understanding.
