Dapps from Varied Fields
BNB Chain has released a list of 11 dApp all-stars for May, which are the most exciting and popular according to the blockchain network.
The Binance-led network recently made the announcement with a tweet on May 19 and an article that details each of the Dapp. The list covers Dapps from varied aspects, including GameFi, SocialFi, DeFi, and the Metaverse.

StepN: Through the FindSatoshi Labs’ Fitness app, blockchain users can earn Tokens (GST/GMT) by walking, jogging, or running with their NFT sneakers. A collaboration between StepN and BNB was announced on 28 March, and 2,000 StepN x Asics sneakers were sold through Binance NFT and its secondary market. After combining GameFi and SocialFi, the Web 3 Lifestyle app has reached approximately 700,000 daily active users in a few months.

NetMarble: The Korean gaming developer ranked among the top 10 of Annie’s global mobile game publishers rankings in 2021. NetMarble F&C recently released Golden Bros, their first blockchain game, on BNB Chain. It is a 3v3 combat shooting game with “Free to Play”(F2P) and “Play to Earn”(P2E) and is currently in the early access stage, with the official launch targeted for mid-2022.

ERA7: Game of Truth: Game of Truth is a metaverse-style P2E TCG developed on BNB Chain, developed by a team of blockchain developers and developers from well-known game development companies. Using their own card library, players can combine cards in different ways to make their deck as powerful as possible and play either PVE or PVP by deploying and placing cards.
“It is also part of our mission to carve a lasting name in the blockchain Esprotfi & GameFi market for our native digital currencies while at the same time investing every effort to propel the entire industry forward,” Iron Lin, marketing lead at ERA7 told BSC News. “In the future, we will build a native-Gamefi platform using proprietary tools such as a series of IPs and metaverses bound together in one eSports ecology.”
According to Lin, there is a clear focus and purpose to Era7: to create competitive and unique gameplay for players and let them gain something from it.

BinaryX: BinaryX is a decentralized derivatives trading protocol that became a Gamefi project in August 2021. Their first game, CyberDragon, is a blockchain MMORPG based on gamified Metaverse rules, prop derivatives come in the form of NFTs, and players can interact in fun gameplay while earning rewards. BinaryX intends to launch additional exciting games to thrill its community to complete their metaverse.

Mines of Dalarnia: Mines of Dalarnia is an action-adventure game with F2P and P2E elements backed by Binance, Chromia, and Animoca Brands. The game focuses on mining, obtaining resources, and completing missions to reach a higher level. Players can choose between two roles in Mines of Dalarnia: miner and landowner. Miners use their powers to fight monsters and destroy blocks to find resources. The landowner only needs to offer their land to miners, and then they will be paid in tools, minerals, and tokens.

MetaApes: MMO strategy game MetaApes combines both free-to-play and pay-to-win elements. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has ended and apes rule the world. They are now set to dominate space. A beta version of Meta Apes has just been launched, and the official launch will occur in the next few weeks. In addition, it will be launching its NFT sales soon, which can earn players higher rewards.

Thetan Arena: Thetan Arena is a free-to-play and pay-to-play game that combines the competitive elements of MOBAs (e.g., Dota, League of Legends) and Battle Royales (e.g., Fortnite). Thetan Arena actively gathers user feedback to enable the community to determine the next battle mode. Players can choose between those two modes at the moment.

Corite: Corite CO is a blockchain-based music platform jointly powered by fans and artists whose Play-to-Earn model hacks the music business as a whole.
