Free Registration Has Begun
Chainlink has opened registration for their biggest ever hackathon which is scheduled for next month.
The event is slated to occur over multiple weeks between October 22 and November 28. Registration is free and requires the submission of a few questions to give Chainlink an idea of your background and experience with coding.
“The #Chainlink Hackathon is a can’t-miss opportunity for new #blockchain developers to jumpstart their smart contract journey & access top learning resources & mentors,” announced Chainlink via Twitter on September 21.
The event will feature educational workshops to invigorate the next generation of smart contract developers and content creators. In attendance will be world-class judges and speakers from some of the top protocols and blockchains, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and more. The event features further sponsorships with technological giants Google Cloud, Filecoin, and Unicef, adding a charitable aspect.
Event Details
The event will prove to be a great place to learn all about the ins and outs of decentralized finance. The event will split between two different tracks, the Welcome Track for newbies and the Main track for veteran coders.
The Welcome Track will be more relaxed and less competitive than the Main track, and is geared more for those attending their first hackathon. The Main Track will be more experienced and feature more advanced tasks and educational material.
Anyone in the world can participate. Chainlink’s rules and code of conduct looks to foster a welcoming environment for interested parties from all backgrounds.
The hackathon will feature up to $300,000 USD in prizes, including $15,000 for the grand prize winner.
