UZH Students Will Learn to Build on BNB
BNB Chain will be leading a blockchain course at Zurich University (UZH), a top-tier institution in crypto education.
The program will give students a complete immersion into the topic of blockchain from world-leading experts and practitioners in the field. In particular, BNB Chain will host a section of the course on fundamental blockchain concepts, finishing with a hands-on NFT workshop.
The collaboration was revealed to BSC News by the BNB Chain team via an exclusive press release.
“We are happy to host for the first time BNB Chain into our program. While organizing it, we pay specific attention to offer our students a broad selection of the most promising—and at the same time varied—platforms because we want them to critically analyze the information that reaches them,” said Prof. Tessone, Chairman of the UZH Blockchain Center.
The 3-week course, set to start on July 3, is the latest in an annual series that helps students understand the economic incentives inherent in blockchain-based systems, the technology, and the legal aspects.
“BNB Chain wants to accelerate the development of blockchain technology and empower students to build innovative projects. This collaboration is an opportunity for the students to dive deeper into blockchain technology and contribute to the future of Web3,” commented Alvin Kan, Director of Data and Research at BNB Chain.
Throughout the course, students will work on a crypto project to be presented to BNB Chain and other blockchain practitioners. Kan will be closely involved in designing the use cases with students from backgrounds in Computer Science, Economics, Business, and Law, leveraging BNB Chain’s strengths.
