Social signal is a new metric from Dapp.com which measures the popularity of projects on social media and data shows that Binance Smart Chain projects have some of the most engaged communities.
Users Love BSC
Seven of the top 10 projects by social signal are hosted on Binance Smart Chain. The top 10 most engaged projects are BabySwap (#1), NFTb (#2), ShibaSwap (#3), Bored Ape Yacht Club (#4), Axie Infinity (#5), 0x1 Finance (#6), LZ Swap (#7), LZ Pool (#8), MoonPot (#9) and PancakeSwap (#10).
Of that list only three projects – ShibaSwap, Bored Ape Yacht Club and Axie Infinity – are not on Binance Smart Chain. All of the rest, including the number one project, Baby Swap, are on BSC. The exact methodology of how Dapp.com works out social signals is not entirely clear, though the company indicates that it is a reflection of general popularity.
“Social signal is a new metric that reflects the general popularity of the crypto community in a certain project. A project with a higher Social Signal has captured more interest in the social network. The Social Signal updates once every 3 days,” explains Dapp.com on the Dapps ranking page.
However the data is calculated, there is certainly plenty of evidence to support the case that projects on Binance Smart Chain are doing well to engage and excite their communities.
BabySwap
BabySwap has been enjoying great success in 2021. That is reflected in the price of the BabySwap token $BABY which has surged to a new all-time high of $0.911161. This brings the token up 633.3% on the 14-day period and 1,189.6% on the month.
According to analytics from socialblade.com, the company is adding an average of more than 1,000 followers a day, with 31,146 following the BabySwap Twitter account this month.
These factors and a strong community combine to make the BabySwap social signal especially strong.
