Users flock to BSC more than any other blockchain, and it is not even close.
BSC Leads the Way
The total number of active daily addresses on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) eclipsed 2,100,000 for the first time on Nov. 4th. The chain has maintained a positive upward swing, showing an all-time high of 1.6 million active addresses a few weeks ago.
The number of addresses on Binance Smart Chain continues to grow at a rate unparalleled to all other blockchains. Crypto is still very much in the early days, but BSC appears to be far and away from the chain of choice. Binance’s CEO Changepeng Zhao (CZ) pointed out the amazing feat on Twitter.
“#BSC had about 2,000,000 active addresses yesterday, about 5-10x of other blockchains,” CZ tweeted on Nov. 5th. “Follow the users,” he added.
Much of the volume weight in crypto swings on Ethereum and is also beginning to migrate to Solana. But at this time, no other chain even comes close to having over 1 million wallets. Ethereum and Polygon each trail BSC with 600k and 200k active addresses, respectively. Solana has only 150,000 daily active wallets. BSC onboarded more active addresses in a few weeks that held on Polygon and Solana combined.
Driven largely by the growth in GameFi, Binance Smart Chain is still the chain of choice for the average crypto users. The chain needs to watch out for the growth of Eth layer-2s, like Immutable which are getting into GameFi. As long as Binance Smart Chain continues to provide quality product that’s cheap and fast it will prove itself as an Eth Slayer.
