Binance Celebrates Dubai MVP License

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has secured a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) License, allowing it to operate in Dubai.

The MVP License from Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) follows Binance’s successful acquisition of a provisional license in March.

The MVP License enables Binance to offer an approved range of virtual asset-related services such as virtual asset custody, transfer and management, for qualified retail and institutional investors in Dubai. The company can also provide virtual token offerings, trading services, virtual assets payments, and remittance services.

“At Binance we welcome regulations that are globally consistent, enable responsible innovation, protect users, and give them choice. VARA’s unique operating model is setting a benchmark for the global industry, and this most recent registration is an acknowledgment of our compliance and safety processes in the new regulatory framework,” Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said.

Binance further announced that it would be conducting a light show on Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa on Sept. 24 – 25 at 8:25pm GST to celebrate its new MVP License.
