Binance Bridge 2.0 Goes Live

The global cryptocurrency exchange bolsters support offerings for its users with some big tokens being made available.

New Binance Crypto Bridge

After the recent launch of Binance Bridge 2.0, Binance announced the first set of tokens is now live, and users can deposit the nine tokens on existing networks and withdraw the corresponding BEP-20 tokens (BTokens).

The nine tokens consist of The Sandbox (SAND), ApeCoin (APE), JasmyCoin (JASMY), Decentraland (MANA), VeChain (VET), ConstitutionDAO (PEOPLE), MovieBloc (MBL), LooksRare (LOOKS) & Dogelon Mars (ELON). The tokens can be traded on-chain via decentralized exchanges (e.g. PancakeSwap) that support the BEP-20 token.

A few considerations were provided in the announcement for users to be mindful of:

Binance Bridge 2.0 supports the bridging of the listed assets on Binance.com. This includes a select number of unlisted assets.

To deposit unlisted tokens supported by Binance Bridge 2.0, you must find your deposit address for a listed token on the same token standard, and deposit to that address. For example, you may use your ERC-20 ETH deposit address for depositing unlisted ERC-20 tokens supported by Binance Bridge 2.0. The deposits will be credited to your funding wallet once the transaction is successful.

The support of an asset on Binance Bridge 2.0 does not indicate the future possibility of an asset being listed for trading on Binance.com. Assets listed for trading on BInance.com go through a strict and separate listing review process.

Further instructions on how to trade via a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) wallet can be found here.
