Crypto Exchange Binance Discontinues Support for Polygon NFTs

Crypto exchange Binance has announced that it will no longer support the Polygon Network for its NFT platform. Users are urged to take action before the deadline to safeguard their Polygon NFT assets.

Important Dates to Remember

  • Support Cessation Date: September 26, 6:00 UTC
  • Withdrawal Deadline: December 31, 2024, 23:59 UTC

Binance NFT will cease its support for Polygon NFTs on September 26 at 6:00 UTC. Following this date, users will no longer have the capability to purchase or list Polygon NFTs on the platform. Additionally, any existing listings associated with Polygon NFTs will be canceled, as detailed in a recent Binance release.

“Users are strongly advised to initiate the withdrawal of their NFTs via the Polygon Network from the Binance NFT Marketplace by December 31, 2024, at 23:59 UTC,” emphasized Binance.

Furthermore, Binance will be concluding its NFT staking program for The Sandbox. After September 26, users will no longer be able to stake LAND NFTs on Polygon to earn rewards.

Binance explained, “This decision was made after careful consideration and evaluation, and it is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline product offerings on Binance NFT Marketplace.”

The Sandbox NFT Collection

The Sandbox NFT collection currently ranks as the second most traded Polygon NFT collection on Binance’s NFT marketplace. It boasts a floor price of 899.15 MATIC ($494) and an all-time trading volume of 20.2 million MATIC ($11.1 million).

Following the removal of Polygon, Binance NFT will continue to support three blockchains: BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.
