Anniversary NFTs Ready
Alpaca Finance has issued a series of exclusive Anniversary NFTs to bring to a close the platform’s special NFT campaign in celebration of its 1st anniversary. These exclusive NFTs will have special utility on the platform in the future.
Alpaca Finance kicked off the Anniversary NFT campaign on February 15, coinciding with the platform’s launch on Fantom Blockchain. To be eligible for these special NFTs, users were required to complete some DeFi tasks on Alpaca’s Fantom platform. Alpaca Finance announced the end of the campaign via Twitter:
“Thanks everyone for participating in our anniversary NFT campaign! We had 1,900+ participants and 550+ users completed the required tasks to earn our special anniversary NFT,” Alpaca tweeted.
Participants who took part in the tasks are to claim their task NFTs here, while those who got enough task points to qualify for the special anniversary NFTs are to claim them here.
Allowing users to boost their NFT collection is Alpaca’s way of marking what has been an eventful 1-Yr. The platform’s $ALPACA token had an all-time high value of $8.6 a year ago but has fallen by over 95% to $0.3974 as of writing. The Alpaca Finance team is, however, working to return the protocol to its glory days. The team has implemented weekly token burns, incentivized token lock-up and has, among other measures, created a product designed for institutions to try and attract institutional funds. Going multi-chain by deploying on Fantom would expand Alpaca’s userbase, which should also have a net-positive effect on the platform’s fortunes.
