Automated Vaults Coming Soon
Alpaca Finance is set to launch Automated Vaults, a new class of products on its Leveraged Yield Farming ecosystem. The new products will run complex strategies for users, ensuring that they earn high yields with no risk.
The first Automated Vaults will utilize the “Market-Neutral Strategy,” allowing vaults to provide high Annual Percentage Yields (APY) in all market conditions. The Market-Neutral Automated Vaults will essentially eliminate market risks by simultaneously farming long and short positions before rebalancing them for users to maintain an unbiased exposure. Alpaca Finance explained the new product in its document. The protocol also published an image of the complex farming product on Twitter.
“This vault will provide high APYs, while hedging risk at market-neutral exposure, which means it will be profitable in all market conditions, just like deploying capital in stablecoin lending,” the document reads.
Alpaca’s Automated Vaults have many vital features to ensure that users enjoy high yields. One of the key features is that there is no specific time to make deposits or withdraw funds. Users can withdraw and make deposits at any time. Other features include Auto-compounding to maximize the yield of farmers, no risk of liquidation, Auto-rebalancing, and Higher max leverage up to 8X.

AIP-2.2 NFT Now Available
There is good news for Alpaca Improvement Proposal (AIP-2.2) voters. Users who are active stakers in the Alpaca Finance governance vaults plus voted on AIP-2.2 are eligible to receive the exclusive Non-fungible Token (NFT). AIP-2.2 NFT is available on the Project Galaxy Marketplace, according to the protocol’s tweet on March 21.
