Axie Infinity’s Long Term Thinking
After missing the dev updates the past few months, The community gets a deeper look on the thought process of the recent updates through a developer’s insight for the final month of 2021.
It comes as no surprise that long term sustainability, growth, and success is the priority of the team behind the popular play to earn blockchain game, Axie Infinity. They have been reiterating this stance time and time again. In a tweet on December 8th, the official Axie Twitter released a link to their December developer’s insight.
“We’ve put together a post to explain some of our thoughts around Axie utility, the future of the in-game economy, and how we can build the best ecosystem possible together,” Axie Infinity tweeted.
The team also reminded the community to keep a few things in mind while going through this extraordinary adventure on Lunacia. First, there will be great volatility, both highs and lows, as a lot of internal and external factors can affect the economy. Axie Utility will change over time as new features are introduced. Focus on long term value rather than short term token prices as the team will develop the game with the same focus in mind.
Community Centered Approach
“Community is the beginning and the end,” Jihoz, co-founder of Axie Infinity, repeatedly reminds Lunacians on Twitter.
The developers understand that there are a lot of hurdles in creating an extraordinary game. Axie Infinity won’t be where it is without the community that backs it. Sky Mavis’ decisions might not be the best one at all times, but one sure thing is that the developers have an open ear to the community.
