aRarity AMA Recap

Avax_Daily hosts aRarity: #NFTs #aRarity #AvaxDaily #AVAXADVERTISEMENT

Avax_Daily Admin: Hello and welcome, how are you today?

Timothy: I’m doing fine.

Avax_Daily Admin: Happy to hear! Ready to start our AMA?

Timothy: Yeap! Let’s go!

Q1: Let’s start off with an introduction of your team. What is aRarity all about?

Timothy: aRarity is an NFT project based on the Avalanche blockchain that was launched on 30th October.

aRarity is inspired by the Loot Project, where we will be taking their concept and implementing our ideas & improvements on it.

What we do differently instead is that we will be assigning rarities instead of specified items.

This level of abstraction is intended to allow any kind of “theme” from a medieval, wild west, or even modern-day RPG.

We also have a larger maximum supply, which means there is a bigger community of stakeholders, which will incentivize more developer activity.

Q2: Can you tell us a bit about the team and their experience with crypto projects?

Timothy: The team behind aRarity is actually the same team that’s behind Swift Finance as well.

Prior to Swift Finance, most of the team members are rather new, only being yield farmers in certain farms.

Our dev however, has had some experience in yield farming and the underlying mechanics. He also has had experience in collecting NFTs and digging deep into collections, which is where he developed the idea of aRarity.

Q3: Can you explain to those finding out about you for the first time what your project is about? So why the name aRarity and story behind it?

Timothy: Our project seeks to take NFT abstraction to the next level.

While most NFTs has an inbuilt use case, our project simply assign each NFT a rarity type such as “Uncommon” or “Rare”.

This level of abstraction is intended to allow any kind of “theme” to be later created by other developers upon aRarity, who are also incentivized by grants, as well as access to potential stakeholders to immediate participate in the project.

For the name aRarity, it’s basically a name play on how our NFTs are based on rarities and that we are based on the Avalanche blockchain.

a = Avalanche, Rarity =  Our NFTs containing different rarities

Q4: Can you walk us through the uniqueness of aRarity?

Timothy: As explained above, what’s unique about aRarity is that we assign rarities instead of specific items like Loot. Besides that, we also have a higher maximum supply.

What this means is that when fully minted, there will be a huge community who will act as stakeholders for other projects building on aRarity.

aRarity is unique because when you mint an aRarity NFT, you are eligible to get the airdrops from projects that build on top of aRarity.

However, it is worth mentioning that these airdrops received are based on the rarity of the aRarity NFT you have minted.

Stakeholders would benefit from the growth of the aRarity project as more NFT developers build on top of aRarity, the more airdrops you will receive.

As such, we have an initiative such as the ‘creator grants’ to encourage developers to build on top of aRarity.

Q5: Won’t the 25,000 max supply of aRarity still limit the growth of the other project?

Timothy: Not necessarily, if a project, say, wants to release an NFT collection of 40,000 they can make it so that whoever holds aRarity to mint on a first-come, first serve basis, and this works well based on any amount of NFTs they are planning to release.

And based on the rarity attribute type that the holder is holding, they will get a randomized type of a similar rarity.

We will be coming up with our “themed” collection which other developers can use as a template in the next 2 weeks or so.

Q6: Let’s talk about partnerships & influencers that you are collaborating with.

Timothy: We are still very much in the process of obtaining more partnerships and collaborations.

That being said, we are currently having multiple giveaways with various other NFT projects in the Avalanche ecosystem such as Island of AVAX, AVAX Pumpkins, Chaintoadz, and many more.

We are also currently in talks with AVAX Wildlife (who’s planning to implement P2E soon) that have expressed interest in building on aRarity as well as Penguin Finance who have just contacted us recently, but at the moment nothing has been officialized yet.

Q7: Can you share your Roadmap in the next 3 months?

Timothy: Our main priority is to release our first themed collection which other developers can use as a template and for aRarity holders to experience what it means to hold our NFT.

For our roadmap, at the meantime, we will be looking for other projects to build upon aRarity, where we will be providing creator grants to them in stages to assist them in this process. To qualify for these grants, the projects will have to display their MVP as proof of sustained interest.

Our main priority after launch is to set up smart contract templates, developer tools, and documentation to make it easier for other developers to build upon aRarity. In fact we already have a smart contract template set-up which other developers can use to create their own custom NFT’s, we will be sharing more details on this once aRarity minting is officially live!

On the side, we will also be building our own unique marketplace to support custom aRarity “themes” and will be used to primarily promote 3rd party projects building on top of aRarity. We are doing final tests on the contracts and will be submitting it for audit soon.

You can expect this to go live in mid-Nov.

In the meantime, you can browse and trade these NFTs on NFT marketplaces that support Avalanche such as NFTrade.

Q8: Where can we find out more about aRarity on social media?

Timothy: You can check us out on Twitter here  twitter.com/aRarityOfficial

Or, you can opt to join our Discord to get access to the latest news here  discord.gg/dxwxEJFwu9

Avax_Daily Admin: With this, we are now at the end of our AMA session with aRarity.

Time for wrapping up, any last words you would like to say to our community?

Timothy: Yeap!

You can still mint our aRarity NFTs but do hurry as the price to mint will increase when we are close to fully minting the whole collection.

Also, we are currently having a $15,000 Twitter giveaway RIGHT NOW!

The more aRarity NFTs are minted, the higher the prize money and the number of winners.

You also have a higher chance to win the $15,000 giveaway when you mint rarer NFTs!
