Acclaimed luxury auction house Sotheby’s has just unveiled their non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace—the “Sotheby’s Metaverse.” Featuring in the Sotheby’s NFT marketplace are various collectible artworks of prominence, such as the Rare Pepe card collection. Sotheby’s Metaverse is an exclusive (immersive) platform and service destination for collectors of digital art.
A portal to the world of curated NFTs, Sotheby’s Metaverse will thrive at the intersection of art, commerce, and culture. At present, on Sotheby’s Metaverse, the Natively Digital 1.2 (ND1.2) The Collectors curated NFT sale is ongoing until 26 October, 2021. The NFT Collection terms its collectors to be “people with deep histories and relationships in the digital art and media space.”
Now, the American media personality, socialite, and businesswoman, Paris Hilton, has listed a couple of their NFTs on Sotheby’s Metaverse. Their listed NFT collection features unique creative art pieces from acclaimed NFT artists (Chelsea Evenstar and Maalavidaa).
Paris Hilton tweeted the following about the listing of their NFTs in the Sotheby’s Metaverse NFT marketplace:
I love the amazing [artwork] for my [Natively Digital] @Sothebys @Sothebysverse Auction.
The Maalavidaa artwork featured by Paris Hilton is referred to as “Fractures.” Serwah Attafuah’s featured artwork piece is known as “Aether: Galaxy Goddess.” Lastly, a Chelsea Evenstar NFT is called “AQUARIUS – Keeper of the Amethyst Star.”
Recently, “Angel Investor and Collector of historically meaningful CryptoArt,” “@TokenAngels” shared a ND1.2 participation tweet. Their collection can be viewed by clicking here. The highlight of the collection in question is the RAREPEPE (“the OG of the OGs of NFT & CryptoArt”) NFT.
