Scape Forum’s Season 1 is Now Live
Seascape Network’s Scape Forum play-to-earn game is now live. Season 1 of the game went live on July 20th and ends August 21st, 2021. Users can play the game either on the Ethereum network or the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network.
What is Scape Forum?
Seascape’s Scape Forum game is a Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) based game. In the game, NFTs are referred to as Scapes. Users can combine their Scapes to earn more rare and higher quality NFTs.
The game involves users combining 5 Scapes which, depending on which 5 Scapes are used, mints a rare, specific generation 0 Scape. Where the game becomes quite fun is users can combine specific Scapes in order to acquire desired higher quality Scapes.
This means users can create and learn combos to win their desired Scape. The higher quality Scapes that are acquired can then be used in other Seascape NFT games.
In season 1, the highly desired Scapes to be won are the Roman themed Scapes , specifically a Scape known as Placidus (shown on the right in the image above).

Switching Places
Perhaps the greatest draw of play-to-earn gaming is the reversal of roles compared to micro-transactions. Instead of paying for cosmetic equipment or gameplay upgrades, users earn while playing.
