The Richass Murlocs Social Club (RMSC) Non-fungible Token (NFT) collection has launched and is now live on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Richass Murlocs is a 1,000 strong collection of NFTs based on the fictional amphibian of the same name.
The collection has strong similarities to the Bored Ape Yacht Club, with ownership of an NFT conferring membership to an exclusive members club. Exclusivity to events and ecosystems is becoming a key enticement for many NFT releases.
While the gallery is yet to launch on the main site, the collection can currently be viewed on Lootex. Excited fans should slither over and check out the many mutant variations set to invade the metaverse.
“The Richass Murloc Social Club, as the first avatar NFT project empowered social Metaverse on [BSC], is a unique collectible NFT of 10,000 Murlocs,” explains the RMCS page on Lootex. “Each Murloc NFT works as a membership card and grants you access to the Club, where benefits and offerings will increase over time.”
According to the mythology of the RMSC, the Murlocs have been driven to Earth following the destruction of their homeworld. Murloc holders can participate in instant messaging, games, and interactive experiences, as well as shape the Murloc metaverse over time.
The most expensive Murlocs are selling for over 50 BNB (~$23k!), while the highest few are seeing demand in the hundreds of dollars. The lowest prices are going between .2-.3 BNB, which is just under $100 USD.
The NFTs can only be sold using BNB. However, sellers can receive their sale funds in either WETH, WBNB, or WMATIC after a sale.
