Im from the UK
MY background is quite varied actually aha ive been in marketing and branding for the past 10 years working with companies from Red Bull to Crabtree&Evelyn
Our team has a huge amount of experience in Blockchain and Games, Our CEO (also from the UK) as 7 years in the blockchain industry and also won many awards for his game design
We’re also huge gamers so it makes our work life a bit more fun aha

2. What is Meli Games and how are you contributing to the BSC ecosystem?

MELI is a metaverse game set in the future, where Gynoids (Characters) live.
All of the Gynoids, Items and land are all NFT assets, the assets can be bought and sold on our marketplace.
Through playing the PVE, PVP and Quest modes you can win PCE and Meli Tokens
With these tokens you can Hatch new Gynoid NFTs and Level up your Gynoids to make them stronger.
We are bringing a new NFT game to the market that is first a game then a GameFi game.
We believe that people want to actually enjoy playing the game and not just the making money aspect!

3. What is MELI?

Looking at other games they felt more like okay i just press this button repeatedly to earn some money…. like being a cashier aha
MELI comes from the Latin word, meaning better!
so i guess what we’re trying to say is that we will make a better game with better tokenomics haha

4. Can you tell us more about your game developing process?
Jack Sanders
for sure, thats the goal!
So we actually started off with the game and then added our own tokenomics to it
like i said before the main focus of our game is to actually make it fun and playable\
so we started with the game first
then we added our tokenomic structure to this game!

5. Can you tell us more about the Meliora NFTs? What are the different rarity tiers?
Jack Sanders
we have 50,000 Meloria NFTs on the market place
each has the potential to reach Level 5! through levelling up during the game
they start at level 0
to level up you can combine two NFTs at the same level + some Clean Energy Tokens and it will combine to create a higher level NFT
Which means it will have more power and strengths
Also, every meloria has their own story line of roughly 250 levels!

Okay and the 250 levels of the story line is various missions correct not corresponding to the level of the character
6. What is the gameplay like?

They will correspond to the level of the character, so it gets harder as you go through the game aha when you get to the higher levels you need to start really thinking strategically about how you play your cards and make up your team aha
we have 3 different modes
PVE – player vs computer
PVP – Player vs Player
and Daily Quests
In each battle you need a team of 3 Meliora
Each Meliora is part of an Alliance, that has extra powers against another Alliance kind of like Rock, Paper, Scissors
Every week we will have Leaderboard prizes for the PVP battles
and also Monthly prizes!
Each character has their own attributes and different attack/defence cards
so need to pick wisely and play smart aha

7. Can you tell us about your two token system? What are their utilities?
Jack Sanders
So we have two tokens like you mentioned – The MELI token with is our governance token and the Clean Energy token which is our utility token that is used heavily in the game
The MELI token has a supply of 1 Billion tokens
and is used for things like hatching new NFTs
and the Clean Energy token has an unlimited supply which is used for Hatching and Levelling up NFTs!
We made the Clean Energy token unlimited to let players play as much as they like!
It also gives more rewards to the people who play the game more, as you can only get the Clean Energy token from within the game
This helps us stop people just coming in and buying their way to the top and rewards players more

8. Is everything on your platform audited? How do you go about auditing a game?
Jack Sanders
Yes of course!
We all believe (us and the community) that security is number one
and we dont want to fall behind on that
so we have worked with some of the top auditing companies in the US to make sure our game is safe to play and secure for all our players
