Hello everyone, my name is Nacho, Co-Founder of Juggernaut (JGN), live from Spain ☀️

The JGN team is composed of crypto enthusiasts with a long history of creating or helping to create new and innovative crypto projects and components.

For example, I’m a crypto-native, that discovered Bitcoin before finishing my university degree, and I have more than 4 years of experience in the space

The whole team was really excited about the possibilities of DeFi, so we knew it was a great time to create Juggernaut 💪

2. What is Juggernaut? What is the goal of this project?

As a short introduction of JGN, after launching a leading NFT and DeFi infrastructure on BSC in early 2021, we are right now leading the way to Metaverse NFT 2.0, with a powerful DeFi infrastructure, creating a cohesive ecosystem.

JGN has been invested by Binance, Goldman Sachs (CA), SoftBank (UK), LD Capital… among other important international funds.

JGN is already a top BSC project, reaching a 59x ATH from the IEO (on May 7th 2021).

We like to see our project as continuos innovation to develop a unique ecosystem, full of exciting use cases, merging the possibilities of Metaverse, DeFi with NFTs. We are Juggernaut. We are Unstoppable Metaverse 2.0.

So in short our goal is to create something interconnected, easy to use, that mixes NFTs, DeFi, and Metaverse 💪

3. What is $JGN and how is it used on your platform?

We think a project without a strong token is on its way to fail.

JGN is the token that links our ecosystem together: NFT exchange, NFT farming, Yield Farming, NFT games, Metaverse… It allows us to make aggressive reward systems to jumpstart the project, as well as developing new partnerships in the industry.

JGN is a utility token connected to all our existing and new infrastructure. We are building a DeFi + NFT + Metaverse infrastructure and NFT Marketplace. At the end of the day, our economic model is about bringing real value to users and projects around the crypto space.

Basically, every new component that we release has a JGN part.

One strong component right now is our membership program, that offers exclusive perks to people that participate on the JGN ecosystem. Both the JGN token and the membership will be connected to the new Metaverse push, our NFT exchange, and much more.

4. What features do you offer on Juggernaut?

Right now, our ecosystem features four main components (and a new Metaverse 2.0 push with a game coming soon).

1. The JGN ecosystem features a BSC NFT Exchange, JuggerWORLD, which is a globally leading and interconnected NFT exchange including user minting, royalty distribution. Moreover, DeFi infrastructure with governance, voting, and unique membership benefits enable a more empowered user experience.

2. Diamond JGN is our membersbhip plan. Earn staking rewards, participate in our innovative new DAO system, and get access to exclusive membership perks.

3. JuggerDRAW is the brand name of our lucky-draw games. They are NFT lucky draws where users can win big prizes!

4. JuggerSWAP BSC is our staking platform. Initially it was on ETH, and we recently expanded it to BSC. Stake JGN LP tokens from PancakeSwap and get JGN tokens.

And then of course our new Metaverse 2.0 push, which it’s super exciting. It will feature different phases of our plan to hyperconnec the Metaverse, and we will feature a new game called JuggyLAND, where users will be able to create, breed, and battle little lions!

We started on ETH, but we changed to BSC when we couldn’t release what we wanted because of the ethereum network constrains.

With our new Metaverse, we plan to expand our growth through new chains, but I can’t talk much about that part yet 🙊

5. Can you tell us more about the exclusive JGN NFTs? Do they have a utility behind them?

At the beginning we started creating NFT collections as tokens of appreciation for our community, but since then we have partnered with different artists and IPs (intellectual properties) around the world to create exclusive NFTs.

– We have an NFT partnership with Jianzhou Chen, a famous international Chinese artist, who makes colorfoul NFTs.

– We also have partnered with ATV, a media company that owns the “Miss Asia Pageant” brand, which is a beauty competition widely followed on asia, to create NFTs based on the previous winners of the beauty pageant.

– One of our biggest NFT partnerships so far has been with Steve Aoki, one of the top DJs on the world, and famous for his artistic performances. We hope to create something very unique in the NFT space with him. He has a different approach and ideas into NFT creation, so we are very excited!

Yes, we are very excited because this way we can offer elevated experiences to our community and supporters

Not only small NFTs, but international art, and cool brands and creators

Plus Steve Aoki has so much energy and is such a fan of NFTs!

In terms of utility, we are looking to implement new features for the Steve Aoki x JGN NFTs, but we have discovered so far that the best performing NFTs have been pure artistic digital creations, and not utility-based NFTs, like the one pair of Muhammad Ali signed boxing shorts that we auctioned a while ago.

Hahaha, the thing is Steve Aoki is very insistent on following his own creative process, so even ourselves will have to wait a bit to see what he comes up with

6. Can you tell us more about how JuggerDraw works?

JuggerDRAW is the BSC exclusive on-chain NFT lucky draw where JGN holders can win big prizes! JGN has released four different versions of JuggerDRAW, all part of the JGN ecosystem, using JGN to participate in the games.

The average selling time of the four campaigns has been ≈1 day, and all versions worked as follows:

1. Each time a user plays, he gets a random NFT with a letter on it.

2. Players can put together NFTs to spell different words, and get rewards!

3. The games also feature exclusive NFT collections, and NFTs redeemable directly for unique prizes.

All four versions have been quite addictive lol, you want to get the best cards

So one thing I know you guys are big on so I wanted to make sure that we touch on this

7. As an NFT + DeFi platform, how have you incorporated NFTs as well as many of the functionalities of a Dapp?

So let me explain why we believe NFT + DeFi is a great match

NFTs are very attractive assets: collectibles, rare items, digital lands, etc. But they are missing three essential things in the world of cryptocurrencies, liquidity, incentives, and utility.

– In terms of liquidity, NFTs are more difficult to buy and sell, because in most cases they cannot be split. In the NFTs platforms, the exchange can happen automatically, 24/7, and with international exposure, so it can help the NFTs a lot in that regard.

– Decentralized finance protocols can give incentives to NFTs, for example, making them work on different networks or protocols, expanding their possibilities of use, or creating an incentive system with staking (blocking of tokens to generate passive profits). Rewards can also be offered for using certain exchanges, or for performing certain actions.

We think putting NFTs together with DeFi, and do something entertaining, gamifying the experience is the way to go. Expand the potential of NFTs, preserving the spirit of decentralized finance. In addition, the best way to highlight the NFTs is when there is a lot of movement of these assets, because this way the ownership and guarantee of authenticity are greatly used.

We created JuggerWORLD, our BSC NFT Exchange, to match NFTs with DeFi, and we will have a lot more things coming to the platform in the future. For example, with the Metaverse, imagine cross-chain assets, with utilities in different games, and being able to be traded across games.

It’s tricky to create a Dapp using NFTs, but we feel our new JuggyLAND Metaverse game is going to be a great start to our Metaverse 2.0 plans

This was helpful, especially for someone like me who are not as exposed to NFTs as I want to be strictly due to the fact of how illiquid they can be sometimes

But the using NFTs to stake and earn income would put my mind at ease

8.  Can anyone list an NFT for sale on your platform? What is to prevent someone from stealing an NFT, creating it as their own and listing on your site?

Yep I mean there’s no doubt that there has been a craze for NFTs, but we like to see beyond that, because they are pretty exciting

The first part is very easy to answer: yes, we have a free minting feature in our NFT Exchange, and anyone is allowed to put an NFT for sale in BNB, JGN, or CAKE.

The second part is almost like a philosophical/artistic question

You will see people that have very different opinions on this, some of them thinking that NFTs are the definitive expression of the artist-supporter relationship

And some of them saying they can right click and download the image 😂

We like to see NFTs as proof of originality. I think that’s what gives value to a lot of things in our daily lives

Being the first, being unique, and being able to express your digital art into an NFT that your fan can buy I feel is a pretty unique experience

This bit is something that I took from Valuables, which is a NFT marketplace for tweets:

“Owning any digital content can be a financial investment, hold sentimental value, and create a relationship between collector and creator. Like an autograph on a baseball card, the NFT itself is the creator’s autograph on the content, making it scarce, unique, and valuable”

A person who buys an NFT art piece is actually buying the only verifiable version of that piece as minted by the artist. Sure you can copy the image, but you can’t copy the originality of the initial artist.

As NFTs are digital, I feel there’s going to be a lot of trial and error, but I believe just like painters used strokes and signatures, NFTs will use tokens to identify which is original and which one is fake.

Those are my two cents, obviously biased hahaha

9. Any exciting news you would like to announce here today?

Yes! Always something going on with Juggernaut

We have recently been listed on Bittrex, and our third PancakeSwap Syrup Pool!

The major project update is our new positioning and soft re-brand: JGN is leading the way to Metaverse NFT 2.0.

We are creating a new GameFi experience in the Metaverse. We have previous experience in designing and launching Play-to-earn games, and we are always innovating. Our Metaverse offering will be built in different steps, with a very complete and fun end product. 

We also have our own NFT exchange, that we can tie to this new Metaverse project, as well as a membership program called Diamond JGN. Diamond JGN members will receive special perks for playing JGN Metaverse.

Our Metaverse NFT 2.0 approach will feature 3 steps 👀

Phase 1: Launch our Metaverse game, JuggyLAND

Maybe I can share some screenshots of our upcoming game, just for the BSC News community

Phase 2: Create-to-play, letting the community and players decide the fate of the Metaverse.
