Mining Pi is easy, and you can start your journey to obtaining the coin for free by opening an account on the network. Here is an easy guide on how to open your Pi account if you do not have one:
- Download the Pi mining application on your Android or IOS device. You can download the application from the Pi Mining Website.
- You can also download the app by opening your app store, either Google Play or Apple Store, and searching for Pi Network developed by SocialChain.
- Open the app and select one of three login methods: Facebook, Phone Number, or Sign up with Apple for IOS.
- We used an Android device for this tutorial, so we have two options.
- Select a unique password. It must be eight or more characters with at least one digit, one uppercase, and one lowercase letter.
- After that, set up your account by imputing your First name, Last name, and Username. You need to use your real name to claim Pi.
- Next, add a referral code from an existing Pioneer if you have one. It is not required but will allow you to mine at an additional rate. You can select the Button below to skip the process.
- Voila! Your account is live.
- Start mining Pi. Remember to log in every day to activate your mining!
