Chinese Version of Valhalla, Partnership With Btok
Floki delivered on its promise of major news about China, announcing that the MemeFi project will launch a Chinese version of its Valhalla game and is partnering with Chinese crypto social media platform Btok.
A Medium post accompanying Floki’s announcement highlights China’s huge population, growing economy and gigantic gaming population.
“There are 701.8 million gamers in China. For perspective, that’s more than the entire population of the United States,” according to the post.
Floki’s plan for the Viking community to invade China includes:
- Launching a Chinese version of the Valhalla Metaverse game
- Translating the Floki whitepaper, Floki website and Valhalla website into Chinese
- Entering into a 3-month strategic partnershiop with Btok, starting Feb. 13, including ads, a $FLOKI airdrop and use of Btok’s Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT (BAYC #7537)
- Coverage from several crypto and financial publications in China.
“We want to make it clear that this is only the beginning of our move in China, and one that is strongly informed by data. We will be assessing things and possibly making even bigger moves in China as Floki’s presence grows in the region!”
