As Andrew already mentioned, I’m Adelaida, Co-founder and CMO of DeRace. I am deeply passionate about blockchain, NFTs, and horse racing. I have worked in marketing and digital project management for more than 7 years.

Edvinas is an algorithm mastermind behind GA and RNG! Sarunas and Zilvinas are two brothers behind our horses and all other game designs.

2. What is DeRace? And what is your overall goal/mission of DeRace?

DeRace – Virtual NFT Horse Racing Universe! 🐎
DeRace is a complete NFT horse racing ecosystem where you can participate in horse races, breed NFT horses with unique characteristics, build your own NFT hippodrome, and make a profit while doing it.
DeRace’s mission is not just to build and launch a platform but to strive towards mass adoption. A few years from now, people from across the world (and not just the crypto enthusiasts) will breed their horses, participate in the races, and aim to build their own hippodrome, all of which will be possible on the new and thrilling DeRace platform. 🚀

3. Can you tell us more about the $DERC token and what it is used for on DeRace?

$DERC serves as fuel of the whole DeRace ecosystem. While DeRace will offer both $DERC and classic payment options, all transactions will ultimately be executed using $DERC. All bets, races, winnings, horses, and item trades are done in $DERC.
$DERC holders take part in the decision-making governance process with regards to the development of the DeRace platform. Token holders are granted the privilege of early access to the platform, they will be able to participate in pre-sales of NFT horses and hippodromes, they will get NFTs at a special price, they will be able to purchase performance-boosting assets and get to test all new features and assets first.
Also, players are given opportunities to earn $DERC through various channels like NFT horse breeding, betting, referral, etc. 🎮💸

Second: purchase a horse from our native marketplace for $DERC next week

In the very near future, DeRace NFT horses will be traded in DeRace’s in-game marketplace, any other NFT marketplaces, on CEX, DEX or AMMs.

5. Can you tell us about the different tiers of horses?

Each breed will be divided into 5 tiers:
Tier 1 — Olympian
Tier 2 — Demi-god
Tier 3 — Alfa
Tier 4 — Beta
Tier 5 — Omega
The tiers define the rarity of the horse. It can be easily speculated that the Tier 1 — Olympian — NFT horses are the rarest and of course have the highest market value. A horse’s price is decreasing as with the lower tier.

Can players train their horses to increase the tiers?

No, it’s impossible to increate the tier
But you can increase the level!

6. How does one go about training a DeRace horse?
Adele | DeRace
You can level up your horsey only by racing it! 🐎 The more you race the higher your level will get and the more exciting opportunities for you unlocks!

Nice, and I know that you briefly mentioned this before but I wanted to touch back on it because when I first heard about your Hippodromes it was such a neat concept
7. What are the DeRace NFT Hippodromes and what role do they play on your platform?
Adele | DeRace
All horse races take place in hippodromes! Also, hippodromes are owned and controlled by bookmakers.
NFT hippodromes: consist of 10 000 NFT tokens, you can own all of it or half of it. The person who has 50% of the hippodrome controls the races, all owners share profit from races and bets.
Bookmakers make a profit from fees and bets made before the race.

8. What are the cashflow ETFs?

We are introducing NFT Market’s first cash flow generating ETF⚡️⚡️⚡️
The vast portion of the crypto market is aware of the success of NFTs but remains unfamiliar with how to price them. DeRace will issue an ETF that will act as a basket of many horses. The underlying horses could be used within the DeRace ecosystem to generate cash flow, which will then be used to burn ETF tokens.

The ETF will reflect the live value of the underlying horses. It will be liquid and hence confidence-conducive to most crypto holders, along with a clear market price. Also, it will be net deflationary as a means to highlight DeRace as one of the few NFT developments that is first and foremost a product, and that too with a business model.
We are deploying an NFT ETF in partnership with Hord, making DeRace NFTs tradable not only on NFT marketplaces like Opensea and Mintable but also on any CEX, DEX or AMM. 🎉

9. What makes DeRace unique compared to the other projects that have NFT horses?
Adele | DeRace
DeRace brings wide gameplay to the picture: users can own hippodromes, make a profit out of them, upgrade them, and compete against each other. Also, we’ll have horse levels, upgrades and additional assets to boost your horse performance.
DeRace is not just about horses and racing, we recreate all the horse racing industry in the virtual horse.
We create a horse racing universe. 💫
Main differences:
🐴 DeRace horses have different visual looks corresponding to their genetics.
🐎 Horse breeding enables a possibility to create new potentially faster and stronger horses. On most NFT games each generation gets slower/weaker – in our situation, it’s quite the opposite.
💸 In DeRace, like in the real world, horse racing is accompanied by betting. (Betting gives the whole industry almost 80% of its valuation).
🏁 We allow players to become bookmakers by owning hippodromes and hosting their own races for profit.
