The upcoming Player Vs. Player feature will see users trying to find various ways to overcome one another. As was recently discussed by the CryptoBlades team via live stream with BSC.News, a new set of items that will coincide with the new feature will be released at 14:00 UTC, August 5th.
These items will be in the form of shields. Shields are an optional item that can prove effective in defending yourself from dangerous attacks in the Combat Arena. The new features have the potential to shake up some of the combat features and win probabilities. The release date of the PVP feature is yet to be announced.
“So prepare yourselves and get ready to purchase these wonderful new NFTs as soon as possible as there are only 10,000 minted!” Read the official statement released on CryptoBlades official Medium page on Aug. 4.
How Do The Shields Work?
According to the Medium post, differentiated ratings will determine what stats the shields possess. Just like the weapons you’ll be more familiar with, they will vary from ⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
The stats on the shields will be detailed as the following:
DEF 🛡️ (Defense) Instead of the equivalent PWR 💪 (Power) on swords
Base Element Resistance and Percentage % Resistance currently known as 🔥 , 🌲 , ⚡, and 🌊.
Scarce Supply
At just 10,000 shields, users will be chomping at the bit to make sure they acquire better means to defend themselves for the oncoming new feature. Limited minting is a great way to stir up a frenzy.
The short supply will surely draw the price up in the marketplace as well. With new users being onboarded daily, demand will likely increase, rendering the new NFT more valuable.
The NFTs can be purchased via CryptoBlades’ $SKILL token, which according to CoinGecko sits above $45 at the time of writing, and many will be looking to complete the purchase before any price hike.
