The Catecoin Community was blessed with a pleasant surprise as a General Public sale was announced on Twitter an hour after the special Oxbull sales sold out. The Oxbull sale’s essentially rewarded longtime Oxbull users as the requirements entailed holding OXB or OXS tokens.

Catecoin has seen its fame surge in recent weeks as the native $CATE token has surged nearly 500% since late October, according to Coingecko. The NFT sale saw over 1215 unique participants and 2969.7x return on investment, according to Oxbull’s data.
The feline token is drawing attention through the various forms of utility awarded to fans on the platform, something the token boasts cannot be found with rivals DogeCoin and Shiba Inu. Catecoin gives compelling reasons that the future of memecoins could be about cats, not dogs.

The recent NFT release from Catecoin supports the play-to-earn gamefi developed by the protocol. The NFTs feature 40 different variations of cats that can be used in Rise of Cats.
