BSCdaily – Admin: Let’s kick this off with a basic intro question
Q1: What is WISE Token all about? Give us a little summary
Peter: WISE is an asset-backed cryptocurrency designed to be a highly secure store of value. WISE products include staking, lending/borrowing, and liquidity providing. I’m an entrepreneur, and I got burned BAD on my first crypto investment, and so I spent the next 5 years learning about blockchain and developing Wise Token: a safe, ethical, and fairly launched DeFi project. We launched on Ethereum in December, and the gas fees drove us to explore other options. Now we are launching on BSC and we are currently on day 7 of the 15 day presale.
BSCdaily – Admin: Same here, I also got burned on my 1st crypto investment when I was a noob. Guess that how we all started
Peter: It seems to be almost a rite of passage in crypto
BSCdaily – Admin: I laughed so hard when I read this but TRUE
Q2: Could you tell us a little bit about yourself and your team? What are your past experiences?
Peter: Sure! I’m a former Military Intelligence officer in the US Army and a real estate entrepreneur. Besides myself we have Aaron, who left a lead dev position at Numerator to build Wise, Vitally who is the best Solidity coder I have ever met, Rene our first mathematician/Particle Physics PHD/high stakes poker player, Cristoph our second mathematician and theoretical physicist, and Devin our community manager and bestselling author. Safe to say we have an elite team!
BSCdaily – Admin: Looks like you have an All-Star team
Peter: And many of them were vollunteers the first year as well. We are all very didicated to the idea of a fairly launched, well-designed crypto.
Q3: I’m curious, with such an elite and dedicated team, how did you guys come up with the idea for WISE Token?
Peter: Well I’m an entrepreneur and after getting burned I focused on how I could make a crypto that would never let that happen. The core idea comes from the gold-backed dollar, back before the 1970s when you could trade in dollars for gold. Wise Token uses asset-backed technology to back all Wise tokens with assets. WISB will be backed by a massive pool of BNB on Pancakeswap, and the contract makes it impossible to ever remove that liquidity pool. This way all WISB holders are guaranteeed a certain amount of BNB back even in the worst case scenario.
Peter: We have a price floor in BNB and that is guranteed by the massive locked liquidity pool. Even if you were the last person in the world to cash out their WISB, there would still be BNB left in the pool.
Peter: (Most projects don’t use 100% of the raise to form a liquidity pool, and this is one of the things that make us unique!)
BSCdaily – Admin: Wow, that must be a HUGE pool
Peter: To put it in perspective, we launched on Ethereum 4 months ago (different network and different token). That locked pool on Uniswap is worth $350 million right now, making the current price floor 50 cents of ETH. That’s pretty cool considering we listed at 16 cents.
Peter: We are doing the same thing right now on BSC. So far 4000 BNB raised and 8 more days to go!
BSCdaily – Admin: I’m even more intrigued by your token now
Q4: Can you share with us $WISE tokenomics?
Peter: Wise is designed to be the token you MUST have in order to earn high APY in DeFi. It has several advantages compared to other tokens:
1) [ASSET-BACKED] Wise tokens on BSC (WISB) are backed by a large pool of BNB. This happens because 100% of the BNB raised in the presale goes into forming liquidity on Pancakeswap and then that liquidity is locked forever. This guarantees a certain amount of BNB back for each WISB token. Even in the worst case scenario, there is an unbreakable price floor vs BNB.
2) [SAFER TO LP] Providing liquidity is one of the highest APY things to do in crypto, but it can be risky. WISB/BNB liquidity providing is resistant to impermanent loss vs BNB because they move together in price due to the BNB-backed nature of WISB. This makes Wise tokens the premiere LP tokens to own.
3) [100% PROFITS SHARING] Wise token is the only DeFi project that is directing 100% of ongoing profits back to its users in a decentralized way. Users who lend WISB to the reserve pool earn their share of ongoing profits from the system, and profits are set to grow exponentially once the lending contract is deployed later this year. (Aave on steroids)
Q5: Great, what are some of $WISE use cases?
Peter: TLDR: 1) Store-of-Value 2) High APY LP with low risk 3) Lending/borrowing ecosystem
WISE is designed to be the most decentralized and secure store of value in crypto, making it the star candidate for long term investments. While Bitcoin is the first and foremost king of this use case, the crown is shared with cryptos that have intrinsic value such as Ether, BNB, and soon DOT and ADA. The intrinsic value of these cryptos are unshakable as long as people are using the network, because they must pay fees in those coins.
WISE’s initial launch raises a huge pool of these intrinsically valuable coins, and then uses Pancakeswap or a similar DEX to lock the value together with WISE tokens by creating a massive unremovable liquidity pair. This creates limited downside risk vs the intrinsically valuable crypto while having unlimited upside potential as the community grows.
LP implications were explained above. It is VERY NICE to LP with a token that is resistant to impermanent loss!
And lastly our lending/borrowing contract launching later this year adds the use case of Aave but on steroids.
Q6: For those who are following the AMA with us, how can we obtain or where can we buy $WISE token?
Peter: Well you need a Matamask wallet with some BEP20 BNB tokens. Go to wisetoken.net/bsc and buy WISB. You can claim your tokens at the ends of the event and trade them on Pancakeswap.
Q7: WISE seems to have a lot of potential; what can we expect in the next 3 months and in 2021 as a whole?
Peter: You can expect to see multiple DEX partnerships offer high APY for WISB LP pairs (we have already confirmed this with Value DeFi and Zero exchange…syrup pool is inevitable as well.) You can also expect a Changelly listing and fiat onboarding for WISB. Also a major centralized exchange listing. By three months we should have also made good progress on our lending contract. By the end of the year we will have a full suite of lending/borrowing produts (basically any tokens trading on Pancakeswap) as well as leveraged lending, which I have a graphic for here:
Peter: Leveraged lending is a completely new product and its like taking a leveraged long position on an asset but also earning interest on the position the entire time.
