New ICE NFT Drop Records Huge Sale on BSC
The Non-fungible Token (NFT) and GameFi space on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) keep producing exciting events. The fast-growing BSC ecosystem was the center of attraction again as Decentral Games sold out 1,250 items from its NFT collection in a record forty seconds.
The record sale on February 10th was the protocol’s ninth wearable NFT drop, called ICE Airlines from its FreeToPlay (F2E) product, ICE Poker. Players require these ICE NFTs to participate in the F2E GameFi metaverse. Decentral Games wrote to BSC News on February 14th about the record sale announced earlier on February 13th via itsTwitter account.
“The game’s ninth wearable NFT drop, titled ICE Airlines, lifted off in meteoric fashion, selling 1,250 items on February 10th in a matter of just 40 seconds. Even more impressively, the NFTs sold for 1.5 ETH apiece compared to 0.5 ETH in each of the prior releases. It’s clear Decentral Games is beginning to receive more widespread recognition as a prominent Web3 player, leading the organization to command greater pricing power over its digital assets,” Decentral Games wrote.
Additionally, Decentral Games also generated revenue from the record sale. The platform’s Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) Treasury received $6 Million from the ICE Airlines NFT sale, adding capital to its growing $60 Million warchest. The Decentral Games DAO contributes to the growth of its GameFi ecosystem and is collectively owned by holders of the protocol’s native $DG token.
Decentral Games launched ICE Poker in October 2021, allowing players to profit from playing Poker, completing daily check-ins, and ranking on the game’s leaderboard. The F2E GameFi metaverse is one of the most outstanding on BSC. As of this writing, the game has over 8,200 active daily users playing to earn profit.
