PvP Begins
DG Pals, a PlayAndEarn blockchain gaming project on the Cronos network, has launched season 0 of their PvP gameplay.
A Tweet on Aug. 16 informed community members who were interested to join to register their team before the season starts. Registration can be accessed through the main lobby of the game. Each player’s defense team can still be edited after registering for season 0. The start of the season will come at the end of August.
“There was a lot of backend development that goes into the Ranked Season 0,” Kit, DG Pals Co-Founder, told BSCNews. “The system is also a stepping stone that will lead to the competitive Chain-War feature that we are planning to roll out in October. We have checked most of the boxes for what constitutes as playable, players can expect more balancing and polish to come from time to time as we improve the MMR mechanics and tune the features.”
Kit also shared that the team will immediately work on the next thing on the list once Season 0 goes live. Season 0 offers a taste of the full DG Pals experience as the team aims to build an interoperable, multi-game, multi-genre, multi-chain gaming platform. Kit also gave advice for the players participating this season.
“Players should have a firm grasp of the skills and team comps,” Kit said. “Your win-rates will boil down to you picking a fight with a team you are more likely to win as levels will eventually normalize once MMR kicks in. Players should also put in some effort on leveling up as many D.G.Pals as they can in order to deal with various types of defense teams.”
