BNB Chain projects GMR Center, EverRise and Ten Finance duked it out for the title of BSC News’ King of the Dapps.
All Hail the King!
All roads led to BSC News’ Twitter Spaces event on Aug. 24 as it hosted the finale of this season’s Battle of the Dapps.
The three group winners — GMR Center, EverRise and Ten Finance — floored their opponents in the group rounds to emerge victorious and proceed to the finale.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
The Battle of the Dapps tournament is a regular competition organized by BSC News, where nine budding projects built on BNB Chain are handpicked to compete against one another for a chance to advance to the final round, where one will be crowned King of the Dapps.
The first round of this season’s edition on Aug. 10 featured Floki, GMR and Hypermine. At the end of that round, GMR beat Floki and Hypermine to proceed to the final round.
In the second round held on Aug. 15, EverRise rose above Infinity Skies and DGPals to earn its place in the finale.
Finally, the last group round on Aug. 19 featured Ten Finance, Mogul Productions and XWG Games, with Ten Finance declared the winner.
The Final Showdown
Over 1,500 people packed into the Twitter Spaces to witness the finale of this season’s Battle of the Dapps between:
Ten Finance – a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platform represented by Mr. Ten.
EverRise – a multi-chain token ecosystem represented by its Manager of Legal Operations, Peter
GMR Center – a utility token that focuses on gaming and gamer experience, represented by Marc Garside, CTO.
Like the group rounds, our host Tom quizzed the three projects on security, longevity, and community.
Upon the conclusion of the round, and the tallying of community and judges’ votes, EverRise was declared as this season’s King of the Dapps.
Commenting on the victory, Peter said:
