Jihoz sets up a rare Twitter giveaway to welcome Ronin to the Twitterverse.

Jeffrey Zirlin, the growth lead for the PlayToEarn blockchain game, Axie Infinity, teased through Twitter that the $RON token launch is coming soon.
A Twitter account was made for the Ethereum side chain, Ronin, and Zirlin, more popularly known to the PlayToEarn community as Jihoz, took to Twitter on January 14 to announce a rare giveaway to welcome the layer-2 blockchain with followers.
“Rare giveaway from me: Follow @Ronin_network. Retweet this post. 500 winners will receive 1 $RON each,” Jihoz tweeted.
Jihoz already gave away $AXS rewards before, usually as incentives for rare twitter giveaways that promote content creation within the Axie Infinity Community. As the side chain makes its Twitter debut, Zirlin asks the community to follow Ronin’s twitter and retweet his tweet for a chance to be one of five hundred winners of 1 $RON each. The real teaser is what he tweeted afterward.
“Winners will be announced after RON launch (soon),” Zirlin added to his giveaway tweet.
A Masterless Samurai
Ronin is known in the real world as a masterless samurai present in feudal Japan. A name appropriate for a side chain looking to be its own scaling solution for PlayToEarn gaming projects. Ronin is where the Axie Infinity metaverse is currently built and where future games could build on.
The side chain also had a big year in 2021 as the team built an $AXS staking feature, created mobile wallets, and launched a decentralized exchange called Katana. It can also boast of having a huge share in ETH transactions as well.

Members of the Axie Infinity community who have been doing so since day one are excited for when they can finally see the fruits of their hard-earned farming.
