ApeSwap Links Coinbase
ApeSwap has announced the integration of Coinbase wallet. ApeSwap hopes the move can introduce greater numbers of CeFi users from Coinbase to the possibilities of decentralized finance.
BSC News spoke with ApeSwap’s Obie Dobo to gain a greater perspective on the importance of the move.
”The Coinbase wallet team approached us on multiple fronts about integrating their wallet, and we couldn’t say no,” Obie Dobo told us. “This integration gives us access to the wallet’s hundreds of thousands of users directly, and it’s one small step away from the millions that use Coinbase’s exchange directly.
The addition of the new wallet fits into a large vision of the ApeSwap team. With a strong community and considerable ape hype within the great crypto industry, the potential for mainstream success has ApeSwap excited.
“One of ApeSwap’s goals this year is tapping into these more “mainstream” communities that might not be entirely familiar with the power of DeFi yet. This is a wonderful example of us making moves to do that!”
ApeSwap is not the only project which recently integrated the Coinbase wallet. On January 13, cross-chain protocol Synapse announced that their bridging technology had also been integrated with Coinbase, bring even greater utility to the wallet and its users.
